Both the Bronco Sport and the Jeep Cherokee have multiple engine options that can reach north of 200 horsepower. Power output like that means you can enjoy quick acceleration and more oomph every time you step on the accelerator.

You’ll also have standard 4x4 capabilities with either model, so you can get the traction you need on or off the road.

If you’re headed off the beaten path, you’ll want the ability to adjust your SUV’s drive to the terrain. The Cherokee has an available Selec-Terrain^® Traction Management System to take on difficult conditions.

Meanwhile, the Bronco Sport has its standard Terrain Management System™, with five standard G.O.A.T. Modes™ (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain). Depending on which Bronco Sport model you choose, you can get additional drive modes, such asMud/Ruts and Rock Crawl.

The Cherokee does have one extra mode if you opt for the available Jeep Active Drive Lock 4x4 System. Ultimately, the Jeep has fewer drive modes than the Bronco Sport.

The Bronco Sport and the Jeep Cherokee are built to head into the great outdoors. Each one has its own standard roof rails to secure kayaks or bikes, helping you take along whatever you want on your adventure.

The Bronco Sport has a safari-style roof that allows you to do that and support a tent when stationary. You can then spend the night even in places where the ground isn’t suitable for camping.

Need to grab something out of the trunk? The Jeep Cherokee has an available hands-free power liftgate. Meanwhile, the Bronco Sport lets you grab items out of the trunk without opening the liftgate via its standard flip-up rear glass. You can access cargo while not entirely unpacking.

Technology features are found in both the Cherokee and the Bronco Sport. They each have their own suite of driver-assistive systems that can help keep you safe while you’re on the go.

On top of that, each SUV has its own infotainment system that lets you stream music, get directions, and make calls hands-free. If you want to stay connected, both SUVs offer Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto™.

The Bronco Sport takes technology a step further with its breadcrumb navigation feature. Using a GPS, this system allows you to drop virtual breadcrumbs as you drive so you can retrace your vehicle’s path. This feature is especially helpful when you veer off the grid and need to get back to civilization.

The Ford also has an optional voice-activated navigation system, which means you can ask for directions while you keep your eyes on the road or trail ahead. While the Jeep Cherokee has a comparable navigation system, it goes without similar breadcrumb capabilities or voice recognition.
